Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT)

Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), also known as Magnetic Particle Inspection, is a widely used Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) method employed to detect discontinuities (flaws or cracks) on the surface and slightly below the surface of ferromagnetic materials (such as iron, steel, and magnetizable alloys).

This method is highly effective due to its speed, relatively low cost, and exceptional sensitivity to very fine defects.
